NEWSFLASH - During tear down (after the Cook-Off) an engagement ring was found inside the Goody Girls tent. The Goody Girls would like to thank each and every one of you who came out this past weekend and hung out with us during the Cook-Off. We had a great time and it was fun seeing new friends as well as old friends. A special thank you is due to our incredible Donors, without you it would not be possible for us to do what we do. Check back with us real soon to see photos from this year's Pre-Cook and Cook-Off, updates on our final placement in the BBQ Cook-Off and for updates on the charities that were contributed to this year. Just a reminder - wristbands will NOT get you into the Cook-off, wristbands are only valid to get into the Goody Girls tent. Tickets to get into the main gate are $7.00 per person. The actual "address" for the Goody Girls tent is 125 Chuckwagon Way. We are occupying booth numbers 125, 126, 127 and 128. Serving times are as follows: Lunch: 12:00 noon until 1:30 on Friday and Saturday. Dinner: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We look forward to seeing ya there!! February 12, 2009
NEWS FLASH!! Bring your kids out to the Goody Girls tent on Saturday, February 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 to meet Daisy, a master balloon twister and face painter. There will be hot dogs, ice cream and lemonade for the kids! It's a special treat, so don't forget to bring your kids out to the tent on Saturday - SEE YA THERE! December 23, 2008

Thanks to all of our wonderful Donors for showing up at this year's annual Donor Appreciation Party. This year it was held at the Saltgrass Steakhouse located at 1803 Shepherd Drive. Thankfully the weather cooperated and it was a great evening. |
